The food

Vegetarian meals, served in a quiet dining room

Meals at Ashwattha are vegetarian, sattvic, and Ayurveda-style — cooked fresh and served at the dining table as part of the rhythm of the day. Where possible, ingredients come from the farm on the property.

Meals are served in a separate dining space on the property, giving guests a quiet place to eat slowly between treatments.

The food is not clinical or restrictive. It is home-cooked, nourishing, and suited to the kind of rest and treatment guests are here for. Your meals are included as part of your stay.

Simple comforts

A few things to know before you arrive

Ashwattha is simple, comfortable, and close to nature. A few small preparations can help you settle in more easily and enjoy the slower rhythm of the stay.

Rooms and bathrooms

Both rooms have attached bathrooms, AC, and Wi-Fi. The rooms are simple and comfortable — clean, quiet, and easy to settle into.

Mosquito protection

Mosquito nets are fitted on doors and windows. Kerala's evenings can bring mosquitoes, so this is part of the everyday comfort of the house.

What to wear

Loose cotton clothing is recommended — it suits Kerala's warmth and is comfortable around treatments. Light, breathable layers are ideal.

Footwear

Slippers are provided. Guests who prefer their own are welcome to bring them. Much of the property is best explored barefoot.

Getting here

Airport pickup can be arranged on request at an additional cost. Let us know when you write in and we will help coordinate.

Local experiences

Nearby beach, backwaters, and local sites are available as optional add-ons if you would like to explore beyond the property.
